Rude? Actually, it was meant as a compliment to the many beautiful Swedish women. You watch the advertisement and you say to yourself, 'wow, I want a Labatt's beer!'

Not too old. I am year younger than you. Although, I do weigh a little more than you at 115 kilos. I should get back into the gym though. 100 kilos is a more comfortable weight for me.

Stupid? Sometimes, sure! But not in a mean way.

I am half German, half Irish and all American! Why would I pretend otherwise?

I think that you misinterpreted what I said. So, I will leave it at that.

I can only answer for my self.
You can cal me a economical refugee. Live on a small nest egg and the interest that it gives. About 60,000 Pesos a mo. Not inaff to live on in my country! Sold my company and fled away. If i go back i have to work. But that will never happen!
I guess that many semiretired people like me live under the same conditions. Anyone can sell their stuff, put it in the bank and see what it gives you. One don't need much in this part of the world!

Hi Will, is that bank interest from a non-phil bank? I think that is smart - only if the dollar does not keep on falling. P60k is plenty to live on a month. My folks live there in dumaguete. Someday, I will retire there.

A non-Phil bank it is! And with my Cirrus, Plus - ATM card i make withdrawls directly from my Swedish bankaccount!
I have to say, I'm not in Dumagute get. Have never bean there, I'm not even in the Philippines ether. I'm in a country right next to it.... But soon I'm leaving here for a new future, i hope, in the Phils. And i think Dumaguete and Valencia up in the mountins will be the best place for me!

Heey, the Dollar will be back on track soon!
