Hey English members .....get back from pie/tart/pudding eating to the "earth, and mankind its citizens".
    :D
What should that be nice ....the earth but ONE country.
I just hope that not all its citizens become the same :D
Let there be differences .... THE reason to travel for me

    Vive la difference!
How boring if everyplace you went was the same as where you just were.
One world with different countries seems fine to me. Besides, who are you going to get to run the "one world government"? The same jokers (or Joker) we have now?
    Let it not be.

I am not envisioning Star-Wars like universe where each planet is ruled by one government- we have yet to discover other planets to compare our political system with them. What I am saying is that with the world currently divided into so many factions and groups it is a wonder that we don’t have further turmoil. Thus a single world government is it the way to go forward? Of course, it wouldn't be a utopia (meaning, quite rightly, 'no place'), but it would be a vast improvement that what we have now. People should stop being afraid of the vast number of problems a single world government can create-problems will arise in any scenario, but we should focus on what it could do. And aim to do those things. Maybe it’s something conditioned into us after watching things like Star-trek or even thinking about the future, but the notion of a one world government seems to have a kind of inevitability about it, as though we are predestined to go that route.
