Only thing I have to say..

Take you time after all you don't need to buy the cow, if you are getting the milk for free. Just take your time it is the Philippines nothing happens in a hurry anyway.. I understand the overwhelming feeling we all have when you are in the arms of a young beautiful Filipina. But it is the rest of your life that you have spent years planning for. Taking a little more time would be very advantageous. For me you can die anywhere safe at home in your bed or out having the adventure of a life time.. I chose the latter.

......"Money is the root of all evil".

Once again one has to be honest with ones self why would a young Filipina want to marry an ageing old guy apart from his charm good looks wit etc etc......

John Boy, you nailed it. Just look around the old elephants' stomping grounds: Why Not and Anabelle Jeans. Young, mostly uneducated women with aging, liver-spotted geezers. Okay, so the girls are not in it for the looks. Must be the charm, for sure. Geezers, guys, remember: give a man enough rope and he'll eventually hang himself!

Right Bikerdave, they latch on to locals too, who can be just as gullible. This is especially common come enrollment, midterm, and finals. Tuition, you know.

Actually, it's "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil" (1 Timothy 6:10 KJV) not that I'm preaching but money itself is not the problem. It's a person's attitude toward it that can be the problem.

Actually, "Radix Malorum Est Cupiditas", greed is the root of all evil, also quoted in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, (Pardonner's tale). Ah, the benefits of a classical education!:D
