I'll take State side drivers any day, every day. Anyone who believes driving here is better than there is delusional!! Or blind?? Or never actually drove in either place.

Dodong, you can't be serious and must have put that in as a joke. Driving in LA or Manhattan traffic at 6pm in a rain storm or Chicago in a snow storm is a magnitude better than the cluster f__k goat rodeo driving here. lol

    My personal opinion

:eek:I don't see how driving here beats driving in the states......just my personal opinion. At least in the states most people stay in lanes, use signals, stop at intersections, use lights at night, yield to traffic....I could really go on and on. I am not saying EVERY single driver in the states abides by the rules, but the majority do a pretty darn good job, especially compared to here!!

    Bad driving.

Not to long ago we drove behind a well known DI member and we observed him braking the law many many times...when he entered the National Highway for a right turn he never looked to the left to see if any vehicles were coming.... we had to stop because a highspeed SUV pasted and was about 1 meter from the DI driver.... he didn't care. The bottom line is that that person would never qualify for a drivers license in any state in USA.
To many San Migs! Where the booze gets in the brains are zipping out.

Why do we always complain about Phil drivers.... look at yourself first...and than maybe......

What about all the drunk foreigners leaving the Boulevard late at night.....
Oh please.... Talking to Phil grown ups....The Boulevard have a bad reputation....take it or leave it.... The truth hurts.... Live with it!

    Getting lazy

I think what happens, is, after the foreigners have been here awhile, driving, they (we) start to get lax and start to behave just like the locals. Not a good thing when paired with drinking, either!! I am not perfect, but I try to use signals and check before pulling out in traffic, coming to complete stops at intersections.....hopefully I won't get lazy!!

Having so many rules to obey is what's wrong with driving in the states. Waiting at a stoplight or coming to a complete stop at a stop sign when there's no traffic coming is especially annoying. But the list goes on and on. Driving a little moped here means you can take advantage of the center lane, the shoulder lane, do whatever and go wherever. I can do anything I feel is safe without worries.
Drove constantly for my job the last 2 years I was in the states. Never really re-adjusted to the hassles there. Partly because cars are cumbersome, partly because of the traffic laws.

I wonder when the police is going to have drunk n drive check points between 11PM and 3 AM on the highways. People leaving Hya Hya and the Boulevard and many other places around town.... Drinking and driving is a bad combination and can result in not only hurting yourself but many other innocent victims. IF YOU DRINK.....DON'T DRIVE! Both locals, visitors and foreigners.

Pervert drivers, putting mirrors at the center front of the cab making it look like facing outside but actually facing down to the passengers mini skirt. Hehehe,....

For you to know that what you are saying is the fact you must be the driver, who else can see what the driver can see in the mirror...LOL

    Cheers!

I don't need to be the driver just to see what can bee seen on the mirror. You can analyze in just by looking the angle of inclination of the mirror. Specially if you are sitting behind the driver. You will realize :D.........
