    I don't dispute that.

Have no doubt that I rather my kids play soccer rather than American football. With interest in doing something that competes with the rest of the world as you say interest in soccer can only grow. I often advocate that our expensive NFL stadium which barely gets used be used to host some soccer matches but for now that falls on deaf ears.

WELL! That's that for another 4 years!

:o Once again England have underestimated the old Enemy, When will they Learn to put a TEAM out and not 11 men. I guess Rhoody will have a Quiet Smirk and well deserved BUT 4-1. Seems only correct to Follow Spain for a while now as I am still there working for a few weeks yet. lets see what they can do on Wednesday, They have Their old Enemy and neighbours Portugal so a clash in store.

Hahahaha. Yep, they won in style, even on the TV on this island.:D

Who knows what might have happened if the "goal that wasn't" had been allowed to stand by the blind referee. Would have gone in 2-2 at half time so it might have been a whole different game. Can only speculate now. But the second half showed that the Germans were by far the best team.

The German team played like champions, and still a very young team moulding together. All the makings of a future super-team. But it was good and clean, skillful and entertaining and thats what we pay to see.

I've had a hefty bet on Argentina to win the final  We'll see.

Jim, I had no expectation in this kids at all and just enjoy them watching. They gained my biggest respect in their last group-game, where they had the chance to play tactical and to avoid England, but they didn't and went for win with no fear whatever comes next.

For me the first half yesterday were the best 45 minutes at this worldcup so far and just great to watch.

I believe Argentina is a number too big for them, but who knows, many people think Maradona needs his butt kicked and brought down to earth, I wouldn't mind if it is done my Germany

But whatever the result will be, that young team exceeded the expectation already and can be proud for what they achieved.
