    The roadworks towards Bacong is not yet finish but there is improvement.
    The last part untill the boundary has been broken up and so now and than they make some new part in concrete. That means only improvement even it goes slowly.
    During 2011 definitly the work will be finish, is that not nice?

    Some things are "universal".
    In Houston Texas, there is the Gulf Freeway. 40 miles of highway from Houston to Galveston.
    It has been said many times that the grandsons of the workers that started the construction are now working on it to finish it.

    Thanks Firefly, I will be home in Dumaguete on the 23rd (weather permitting) so I'll see for myself. When I left 5 weeks ago they were nearly to the boundary sign

    Since yesterday it is a lot more easy to drive between Dumaguete and Bacong.
    No more alternately drive.
    Only a short (maybe 10 meters) drive trough dirt road.
    The road is not completely finish but the burden for drivers is almost nothing now.
    After 2 years this is a nice Christmasgift
