Amazing how you took the subject from a kidnapping warning, to criticizing the US Government to flat out American bashing.
What a load.
Two-thirds of the American people have said the Bush Administration is doing a bad job. What a nations government does is not necessarily a direct reflection on the average citizen of that nation.
Perhaps you believe the European nations only do things out of the goodness of their hearts and would never exploit anyone?

Don't think I'm not embarrassed by the "ugly American" tourist. I'm just as disgusted by that as I am by the old Euro-tourists that go around hitting on teenage Filipinas. However, I believe they are the minority and not justification for bashing a single nationality.
