Well. The Question is if the PHP is strong or the USD is weak.
Still there will be more inflation in the Phils than in the rich countries.

The dollar is the one getting weak. For the first time ever, the Canadian dollar is worth slightly more than the U.S. dollar.

Is that why the victory logo.

And it seems like there is a lot of cheap houses in the US nowadays.
Dont thing mr GWB is the smartest guy into US economy.Less tax for the rich and throw the poor out of their houses. 1,6 mill houses on forced sale this year and 2mill probably next year.
At least they can afford new guns.

Weaker/weakening dollar is supposed to mean tipping the balance for a stronger peso. The story is more complicated than that relationship, if there was still a viable one. The peso's strength is dependent on the dollar because mama, papa, cousins et al relatives are sending the green bucks from somewhere else to support the Pinas economy. So when the dollar is weak, the peso also becomes weaker in value. The dollar being weak inflates all Pinas goods in the not so long run. When the dollar is stronger, the peso becomes weak in value because the exchange rate is high. Where am I going with this????
At any rate: I can see how smart smart some richies and not so rich but still smart smart people are--they hold accounts in various currencies and so whichever way the fluctuations are going, they are always ahead. Hmmmm.

Yes, we can afford new guns because its our right to have them.

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it."
    - Thomas Jefferson

ps...our shitty economy has nothing to do with guns...it has to do with fighting multiple conflicts around the world while others watch.

And you just "accidently" happen to to be in the middle of all of it!!!!!!.

Then you probably could tell me why the only official building in Irak defended by the US soldiers where the OIL ministery. All others (museums etc) containing the values not possible to recover were of no interrest. Then you also can tell me why
that during the years from Desert Storm US was systematicly destroing Iraks water supply.During Desert Storm the US destroyed 2 factorys manufacturing baby milk, and then put the same product on the ban list by the oil for food program.
according to UN numbers have today around 600.000 extra infants deaths cause of this.

About weapons. What the US use their weapon for inside US borders is your own matter. You get the politicans you deserve. But outside its a different matter.

You could start reading a book named ""The Grand Chessboard"."American Primacy And It's Geostrategic Imperatives" Written by Zbigniew Brzezinski in 1997.
A man who just happen to be a strategic adviser in the White House. Member of CFR, and a lot of other organisations "easy" accessable for the ordinary american men and women.

Just a little quote from side 31.
"In that context, how America 'manages' Eurasia is critical. A power that
dominates Eurasia would control two of the world's three most advanced and
economically productive regions. A mere glance at the map also suggests
that control over Eurasia would almost automatically entail Africa's
subordination, rendering the Western Hemisphere and Oceania geopolitically
peripheral to the world's central continent. About 75 per cent of the world's
people live in Eurasia, and most of the world's physical wealth is there as
well, both in its enterprises and underneath its soil. Eurasia accounts for
about three-fourths of the world's known energy resources."

Then you know why the American forces have a strong "Tie" to the region while they was unable to stop 19 muslims with box cutters within its own borders.
Give me a break, will you.
