    haha when reality hits the gold diggers will be surprised. Rich in the Philippines is definately not rich in the west

    I've heard the "marry the family" problem is even greater there than in Thailand, hard to believe as I have my "step daughter" here and just got rid of my lazy "step son".
    That said the whole package is better and cheaper than an assisted living arrangement in the west... :}

    Here you would likely have two houses full of inlaws, cousins, and unspecified "relatives", if you didn't prepare them that you were not going to support them.
