Yes, there are lots of couples that i know that they met thier husband in the internet and i am one of them. Base on my experience, we did pretty good with my husband although there are rough times in our life in the first few months and that is part of our adjustment of culture and etc.( different world, you know what i mean) Now we are very happy with each other, no regrets and have 2 kids. I still communicate with all my friends all over the world that they also met thier husband in the internet. They are very happy of what they are right now.
I also know some filipina that they are not lucky with their husband, got devorce and went back to phils. I feel sad about it but thats life, not everyone is lucky.

No question, that English is our second language, but you’ll be surprise how successful Filipinos are when they attend and learn the western way at school. Community Colleges have grants. Talk to them.

Don’t stay at home; get a job, (good career) its good for yourself, then lets see how relationship works out.

thanks for the reply. yes i was working before i had a baby and after i gave birth i stayed home for about 10 months, put my baby in the day care and find another job, few months later got pregnant again he..he.he. i am happy being a stayed home mom with my two wonderful kids. we don't have any problem even when i was working, i get up early prepared breakfast and lunch for me and my husband. when he got up everything is ready. we have a wonderful relationship with my husband and i am so bless with him coz he is a wonderful guy.

its nice to heard that you have grate love life and now the family you have is your treasure... i could say lucky you.
now a days its so hard to fine luck as what everybody want to have.
I've so many experience in life that i could say I'm not lucky enough and
i don't complain..... not yet!!!!! hehehhehe. because as of now I'm happy with my love one even we are not married but we are together as a couple and i give all i can just to let him feel how he occupied big space in my heart and i'm so happy that he loves my daughter so much.
for that its make me feel more happy in life..
they are my life my kids and him...

 

just make sure like Dumaguetenia she will use Vermont sharp cheddar because all other cheese on a sandwich is just like quickmelt, that actually doesnt even melt...........go figure

 

Judy already has a Bachelors Degree not sure a community college is what she would need.

On the subject of careers and relationships I know from experience how hard having 2 career people in a relationship can be on the relationship. I sent many years pursuing more money and better career while my ex was doing the same and guess what, we both got more money and a better career and the relationship fell apart because it was not what we were pursuing.

Since then I have made a lot of personal changes in my life and I no longer live for my work, I work to provide for my family. I spend my evenings and weekends with my family. I have a hobby that I love that I can share with my family as well.

I will leave you with a quote from a song by Jana Stanfield: There is nothing you can buy that's worth more than free time.

I hope to be there in Duma sharing my "free time" with my family and friends soon.

Maybe a summary of human evolution could make us understand this age old conflict between conservatives and liberals.

History 101
For those that don't know about history . Here is a condensed version:

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1. Liberals, and
2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.
Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production.

A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that they will share this immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to tick them off.
