    Transformer for residential welding

    Hello,
A transformer, on the Noreco power pole that feeds your house, is required mainly to keep the neighbors from complaning that their TV and appliances will be ruined when a welder (person) is attaching a gate or fence at your house, and he connects his welding machine to your non-transformed power.

Was in polaris this morning, very helpful. Have also found out it is a requirement from noreco that if you draw more than 60 amps you have to have a transformer fitted to the pole outside!!!!! So now i am wondering why this has not been done grrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also there is a new transformer just about to come online in Dauin in september so hopefully this will sort out some of the low power probs around bacong/combado area.

The cost for a 25kva transformer is 56,000 peso refurbished and 80,000 peso for new and noreco will fit for around 500 peso's so hope this helps!!!
