Thank you, pickled_newt and Tuyom. You just made my day. Have to really laugh my heart out reading your reactions.

I agree that some of PhilT's posts are quite 'hard' but my previous post was derived only from the qoutation which I cited from his post; not from his other posts from other threads.

    Thank you, guys!
    PS

Pickled newt....pickled newt, you have got the wrong end of the stick, I was saying do not just copy and paste something, you can have a link to it, no problem, but I was asking you to write YOUR OWN points on a good topic, what if we all did that, this is a forum for your own stuff.

In my understanding an opinion is formed through actual experiences , relayed informations like from media, tele, papers etc .Wasn't my post an opinion put together from odd readings from a retrieved piece of rubbish , a wrapping paper down for bin dated sometime in 2006 ,only copied one paragraph put in close qoutations. Opinion or not ,wasn't it complementing the thread here?

    Peace peace peace.

Any actual information can be interesting and helpfull to all members here, whatever the source of such might be....Would say to Josephen: Any interest of putting actual quotes of mails regarding kajak- transport overseas ? To Pickled Newt: Kindly keep informing us with updates, whatever your source is ! To PhilT: Why you don't just pack your stuff and LIVE in this country. By then you might learn something about the local culture and get a clear view........

Posted information about ongoing projects in/near Bais myselves WITHOUT notice of source, as this source is WORKING on waste water management, and he does not NEED discussions like this.

    Peace peace
    Regards
    Ryan

I heard that the newly elected vice mayor has plans of demolishing the constructed waste water treatment facility at the Quezon park.

The project which is first in the country, is planned of treating waste water coming from the public market, before dumping it at the boulevard.

Isn't it a waste of money? Had built it up recently ,then demolishing it? Whos brains is behind this? Although I hate the idea of it in Rizal park ,but it is better than none .But the whole idea is f*** up . Alternatively ,better move it into an empty location away from the main business premises and people. It must be a dreadful site to see and in the long term will be stinking place .There's no point of constructing one then months later getting rid of it,must be nuts. The newly famed MC Do is only few strides away from this market sewage treatment fascility, unbelievable!

When I first come across of the news of this treatment fascility constructed in Rizal park,i wasn't very impressed  . By the sound of it , so bizarre choosing such location and it looked the planning offcers whatever you call them are out of their minds.

Yes! Finally a thread concentrated on the sewerage problem in the city. Even more is the concern about the Water Waste Facility, and as to why it has to be in the Park at the heart of the city (under what was then the children's playground). For the past month I have been bombarded with inquiries from local and international lovers of Dumaguete regarding this. Questions like whether this is approved by the appropriate entities, does it have the necessary environmental clearances, have the people been consulted, have the concerned residents in the immediate area approve of such project, IS IT SAFE TO BE WHERE IT IS, etc .

We do need waste water treatment in the city. From what I have gathered from environmental experts and experts on waste management, both solid and liquid waste treatment centers shoul be away from the public. One doesn't have to be a genius to know that these procedures should be far away from people.

I have read the Negros Chronicle and it is found on pages 6 and 15 on last Sunday's issue. You can log on to the site of Negros Chronicle.

I thought they were building a swimming pool there at the park.
