Hope for better result this time.

Attempted to reply a little while ago and got: "You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. You are not logged in. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page and try again.
    2. You may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

I think that I have reestablished a connection and will try to resurrect my previous message.

one partially failed answer to one of several questions

I regret that my attempt to provide one answer to one question was not written in a way that you admit to understanding.

I hope that any others who did not understand will provide helpful comments.

    5. What brought you here in the first place

In the first place I came here:

To live among people who spoke the only language I can deal with. Language you see is one of my weakest points.

To live among people who mostly adhere to the teachings of my Church.

To live where it would be easy to start to travel and to return.

To enjoy listening to and watching water.

To live in a place large enough to have most of what I would want, but small enough not to be oppressive.

    green Fordhook lima beans

    spherical red lentils

    tasty brewers yeast

    attitude

    3. What's the most annoying aspect about living here?

Perhaps annoyance is in the attitude of the annoyed.

    Dumaguete seems pretty good.

    4. Would you do it all over again, given the chance?

Since I decided to live in Dumaguete, I have become aware of praises very many people have for many other places. But Dumaguete still seems pretty good. So this question is difficult to answer.

Thank you to everyone who posted very useful replies to the questions the OP asked.

I wish there weren't many off-topic replies but ...oh well!
