Wow, I have not been very active on this forum since some months.
I found a thread regarding a Dutchman so I clicked on it (being a Dutchman myself).
I understand that I can't understand anymore the context of the original posting.
No problem ....it was nice to see the picture of Rhoody and me again when we had some beer together in our Lederhosen outfit.
I like Germans (or others) when they offer me beer :D

 

the gist of the original posting was this:
ejboerma, a Dutch retinee, will be moving with his Pinay wife to a place close to Dumaguete (forgot the name). He currently lives in Lapu-Lapu Cebu, in a temp appartment.

So far he is offering coffee but you might be able to swindle him out of a beer for some good inside information about the place :D

 

His sin was posting in a language other than English. Should all Philippine languages be banned as well?

Wow, did not expect to make such a stir in the calm water. And the trouble is I am a Frisian too who is in fact very proud of his unique own languages. But anyway. My name is Eeuwe Boerma (Frisian names, i'm afraid) and look forward to join the "gentle" people on Dumaguete and love to lift a pint someday..........

 

first time i was in germany with a dutchman, we came from austria where he was friends with everyone, then every time stopping for gas driving through germany he got into shouting matches with other customers, i never understood who started it. sounds like they worked it out among themselves this time.
