Does anyone here know the scientific name of the famous Danggit of Cebu and the Pusit of Masbate?
The dangit of Cebu is Siganus canaliculatus or Lo canaliculatus. I don't know the scientific name of pusit. In Dumaguete, the dangit is called "balawis" and is usually caught by using "panggal", a bamboo fish trap, baited by an alga, Enteromorpha.
