Dumaguete is one of the tourist destinations in the Philippines. Lots of local and foreign tourists are enjoying the wonderful and beautiful sites of Dumaguete. Tourists will often say that dining in Dumaguete is a pleasure. Many restaurants are scattered on various areas of Dumaguete where great food and drinks are served, and friendly people do serve you.

Dining in any restaurant in Dumaguete can be considered an adventure. You can try the delicious seafood, Mexican treats and coffee, Chinese food and dimsums, or local Filipino food. You can be sure you're getting your money's worth when you dine in Dumaguete.

Coco Amigos is a restaurant in Dumaguete where you can relax and enjoy the view of the sea while having your great meal. The restaurant caters to tourists and expats in Dumaguete. Coco Amigos has a variety of main courses as well as snacks. The prices are a little bit more expensive than the average but the food is really great.

Looking for a place to get the best (and really affordable) seafood in Dumaguete? Then have a seat in Lab-as Restaurant. The restaurant is known as the best seafood restaurant in the Dumaguete City. Lab-as Restaurant serves a wide variety of seafood dishes like Grilled Squid, Sinigang na Tanguige, Baked Oysters, Sinigang Shrimps, boiled vegetables, chili curacha, and a lot more. The place has a good view of the sea and the prices are very reasonable.

Hayahay Restaurant is situated beside Lab-as Restaurant in Dumaguete. These two restaurants serve the same food for they share the same kitchen. The difference is that Hayahay Restaurant is built around a big live tree making the place very cool and fresh. The restaurant has a bar with a live band playing.

For Mexican treats and coffee, the Cafe Memento is the place to go in Dumaguete. The beef burrito in Cafe Memento will make you ask for seconds. The quesadillas served in this restaurant are really nicely done. Cafe Memento is the place to hang out with your friends while savoring delicious Mexican treats and sipping your ice-cold coffee.

If you're into Chinese food then Dumaguete's Chin Loong restaurant is the place to be. The restaurant is popular among residents and tourists in Dumaguete. That's how you will feel when dining at Joe's Chicken Inato. The restaurant is near the sea where customers can enjoy the fresh sea breeze and view of the sea. The restaurant has many selections on the menu but the grilled chicken with puso and atchara is the best.

Chrissar, Mikes place is a different place, Its a still akind of secret and "normal" people usually just walk by, as it is a diveshop with a nice little outside-sitting area. But when you discover the food it is almost sure that you return there to have a bite to eat or a snack inbetween...

thats how it looks from the street

    cheers
    Rhoody

We gave it a test yesterday but I don't wanna be too rhood as I like the owners a lot, but I would say

We were not impressed. And this is the polite version, maybe The Dane writes something about it...

could be that chef Guenther was not there, but even this could not change the quality of a sausage, ham or cheese (ok, blue cheese is good) just because Guenther makes the cut.

    Rhoody

I kll give it another try... somewhen
