could not believe that, so simply called them.

    UCPB
    Metrobank
    Bank of Commerce
    DCDB

are the bank accepted according to their customer service, I let 2 times ask for LBC and they said as of now they don't accept payment via LBC.

well, at least it is a step in the right direction. Of course the odds are good that 4 calls there would give 7 different results...

    ditto

Ditto, Rhoody....I called, too, (I must have called after you, since the guy seemed a bit exasperated that I was asking), he told me "several banks", one of them being UCPB and he also said LBC, but I, too have been told at LBC that they don't accept NORECO payments yet.

I was in Bank of Commerce a few months ago and they had a sign posted that they accept noreco payments. I didn't try to use it (my wife likes waiting in line to pay all of our bills so I let her).

    Paying at bank

Okay, so we decided to pay our NORECO bill at Metrobank today. So, if any of you want to do so, I worked out all the kinks and here is what you have to do if you decide you want to pay at the bank (which will save you lots of time, I guarantee it!!) Here are the steps:

1: Call NORECO at 226-3493, with your bill in hand, and tell them you are paying your bill at a bank and need an OEBR number.

2: Take your bill, your OEBR number and the exact amount of the bill (Metrobank wouldn't make change, not sure about the others) to the bank.

3: Fill out the appropriate paperwork (Deposit slip at Metrobank). I had to write their name at the top and then fill in all the denominations of bills and coins I was giving them.

    4: Proceed to the cashier

I would have been in and out of there in less than 10 minutes had I had all the information I just gave you. This is definitely where we will be paying our electric bill from now on!!
