Clannish? Not here!

Hi Kojak, now we have all this sorted hope to see some Postings from you. Clannish we are not but some times we get the Anti-Foreigner Brigade & the Lets Keep the PI for The Pinoys Set putting in an appearance. They come and go and we can smell them a mile off. Pay no attention to them and like the Trolls they will go away. As an ex-Military man Myself, happy to make your acquaintance. You will find Quite a few here, only to willing to share some of Lifes experiences. Have a Good Sunday My Friend.

It seems that some people have different definition of "Troll"
I consider the rude answers to be Trolls
A much better New Year to everybody else

 

Welcome to the group Kojac, but please, spare us from the war stories.

 

For me a "troll" is someone who's purpose is to irritate and agitate. Someone who will go on a forum and say outrageous things; insulting things just to watch the explosion. They contribute nothing positive. My response is to post a simple plea...."Do not feed the troll".....then leave.....the less reaction you give them; the less fun they have; the quicker they go away

 

You know the difference between a "Fairy Tale' and a "War Story".....A Fairy Tale starts with "Once upon a time....." A War Story starts with "This is no sh*t....."
Both are not expected to be believed....

Kojak! Good morning, Well I agree with your Terminology of the Trolls, just a shame that those that do not understand this, still continue, Well up to them of course, Ignorance is bliss, so I do as you do, ignore them.
On the War storey front, some will listen some will not, Unless it is a funny thing, I tend to leave my Service Days for the times I need to relate one. We can't please all the people all the time, Those that have seen bad things and/or endured bad things don't like to be reminded. Post away kojack, we all make mistakes and we have enough friends here to put us right

I suffer PTSD from the war .....I have uncontrolled rages..... it is not good for me to relive my war experiences especially the bad ones..... so you wont get many war stories from me

Kojak, You are not the First and I know you won't be the last to Admit to this and I am sorry to hear that this is the case, I am sure that I can speak for many, who will understand if your postings get odd. As I said, we are here to help each other.
Remember, you have a PM function if ever you need to talk to anyone in a little privacy. There a few here that will always lend a sympathetic ear.
