⌛ Why are some people racists here?

Here are two: mermaids and Atlantis in PG. Actually these hotels are excellent resorts, scandinavian and german, well loved by their patrons. They are beautiful and certainly don't destroy their environment facade, but they are of concrete material that you find so ugly. By the way, Koreans are not in Thailand. Yet, there are many, many concrete resorts all over Thailand, courtesy Europeans. I love tastefully done concrete structures. I would not have done exactly the way Red Sun has done it, but it certainly doesnt deserve your targeted abuse, and Koreans certainly don't deserve your racist squawks.

Ah, the price of free speech.
I don't think personal attacks should be tolerated but controlled. albeit heated discussions like this one (sans the personal attacks), provide an opportunity to examine both sides and re-assess our own beliefs.

I see that this site has more than its fair share of cynics and sarcastic bunch. Typically, online cynics and the sarcastic themselves suffer from the exact same treatment in real life. To the Filipinos who are joining in and having fun at the expense of Koreans…Take note: The same foreigners who are pointing their racist fingers at Koreans are pointing their fingers also at the Filipinos. Do you really think the racists only limit their racial attacks on one race? You have been discriminated long enough; you should know better.

I hope I never encounter these people in real life during my life here in the Philippines.

To the administrator/moderators. Expressing one’s views and beliefs should of course be allowed. Saying something about Koreans. Fine. It’s a personal view. But same racial rants on and on should not be. Continued rants, post after post, clearly becomes PERSONAL ATTACKS to each person who falls under the category, in this case every Korean, including me. I definitely was being personally attacked by those few. To allow such rants only implies that you are condoning them. I am sure if someone comes into the forum and keeps saying the “N” word, you would do something about it. To Koreans, the things some people said has exactly the same effect. Only those who were attacked by racists know what I am talking about. Do something about it.

Lastly, I want to dissociate myself from the site. I came to the site to enjoy a few free minutes of my time now and then. But now, the site leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I am sure the administrators/moderators have nothing to do with it, but it’s being hijacked by a few rotten apples. So I tried to delete my posts by edit/delete button but I can’t get the edit button to show up even when I am logged on. I don’t know what the problem is. As I have PM’d Dane yesterday, who I suppose is the owner of this site, I would very much appreciate being deleted all my posts to-date as well as my membership, as I keep getting emails into my yahoo account. I still haven’t received reply from Dane, and I notice that my posts are still up. Please! Get me off this site. Thank you very much in advance for a quick action.
