It's very clear that there is RACISM to some posters here, which is a very sensitive isssue when it come to this and some repeated attact personally to a certain person.My advice you do it in a private message to the person you like to attact as its alraedy not look good that your repeated attact you posted it in this forum (for what? so that some members here will bit who is the BEST IDIOT? )

 

Hello Kai. Hope that it's not my posting you refering to with the "racism".And if, then as a kind of victim. Even though it was my wifes direct experience.
I have not pointed at one specieal person, but as a nationality to be "aware" and not "guilty"
If I go to Scotland and start drinking and fighting, sure I will be refered as a "F......... Viking"
Both germans and Japanese are a very talented people and nations. Thats why they are in the lead in industrial development of the world. But far to often this boost into a not "to be admired" ego.

 

Ok as Blackline has expanded his reply I will also in fairness. My initial reply was a short one on my story that rhoody was asking, it was ridiculous reply...IT HAD TO BE A JOKE!!!! BUT he took it literally!! thats why I reacted to him that way. So Rhoody, sorry if that was over the top, but it was only a joke all round. BUT nevertheless this thread is really not a good idea as rhoody was saying all stories here will be treated the same...as BULL****

And THAT is not fair, you are trying to set people up here to bring them down. So whatever replies you get here if they are having a "GO" at you then you deserve it really. As I said Rhoody you are very welcome for my own story, but not if you treat it as BULL****

PS : I am NOT a racist as I am myself an Ethnic minority and often brought down in my own Country, so I do not do what others do to me. and my race. I often worry for my kids in school about that but so far it has not happened, YET.

Now it’s my turn to share my "love story". I have a boyfriend (GERMAN OF COURSE:D ), he is 4 years older than me, we are 3 years on relationship.We met in Dubai 4 years ago, as he is a consultant on an international company, and on that time ,he is dealing some businesses in dubai and visit the company where I also work, that’s why we met each other there.The first thing strikes to me is his looks…the first time he introduce himself to me, I’m like a teen ager ( cannot sleep the whole night). Few months passed he visit again to our company, he contacted me and asking me for a dine out (that’s the time I’m like floating in the sky).Then we shared stories…His looks and openness (as I'm also very open and direct person), that I can descuss on him any topics with good conversations
is the main attraction on him that strike me ,until slowly developed into love. Many calls and texts and visits we decided to be together.Everytime he go to other country(because of his work) he dropped in Dubai to be together with me even 2-4 days .Then we try to sit our month holiday we spent our time together travelling, mostly Philippines. We have some plans in the future….but time will tell..........

 

I agree with yabs. There seems to be a misconception about the women in the Philippines (perhaps the entire country in some cases). The old guys coming to "party" do have better choices than the Philippines. For those looking for a serious relationship there are good prospects especially if you're willing to conform to certain conservative traditions related to courtship. For Americans, think about what it was like in the US before the "sexual revolution" of the sixties. That's closer to how it is in PI.

Hello mommyseksi, I will suggest some threads in Dumaguete city section that is a must for the DI members who are planning to settle in dumaguete.There are many there for them that is a must to know like apartment rental, cost of living,noreco issue, internet connection etc...that will incourage them to stay in Dumaguete.I dont think so this WHY thread, because it's more on love story:D no Dumaguete information posted.The topic I think is "WHY" you choose your partner, husband ...not boyfriend?

Sure .....Rhoody is putting things a bit (a GREAT bit !) black and white in some of his phrases, but I have a good guess WHY he is doing that.
I focuss more now on the stories I read about members believe/experience regarding WHY they come to the Philippines.
Rhoody...I did NOT come to the Philippines because I could more easily get a young woman/girlfriend. I got however an extremely much yonger partner than I am myself (thank God !! hahaha).
But it's good to hear the diffent stories because it's the more general perception westerners have of people (mostly the men) who go to the Philippines.
Yabs it quite right ...... there are better countries to go IF you go purely for THAT.
But I'm very satisfied with my young partner (and you don't disagree with me , is it Rhoody ?)

 

Yabs, Thailand full of aids, and pataya Russians now.. I think the phils offers a better choice (for that guy looking), but then it depends on your motive. The girls in dumaguete are conservative on the surface, but some, are looking for any foreigner they can attach to, either one night or a lifetime. so for that there is plenty of opportunity for the lonely old guys that never thought a 17 year old would look twice at them. Maybe they never were to anywhere else. Thailand was once the mecca as I understand, but not sure its everyones barometer. Let Rhoody take you to Angeles sometime.
