Decided today I would try the mountain road from Valencia to Pamplona, stunning views and at the high point of 1,250m it was pretty cool! So here's a few pics of the trip.
Luckily enough the road had been graded up to the highest point so was a good drive but the road from there to Pamplona was not too good and it went on for ever and ever.
Met up with some locals who spend a week at a time looking after one of the 25 seizemometers which were placed at different sites around the mountains and have been up there for around a year now,one of the edc engineers comes and changes the sd card every week.
I have always know there was a road up this way and would never even try in the rainy season,we even had to straddle some of the dry ruts in the dried up mud as were so deep. I may venture up to the highest point again but no way all the way to Pamplona.

About 100 kilometers.
It's a shame that Google is getting rid of the Tracks app next month (stops working 30 April).Guess I'll need to find a replacement.

Thats what I am talking about...some exploration in the mountains. I really miss the open areas driving or biking around. I did alot of getting lost in San Jose mountains and met some interesting people along the way !

I was just up there a couple weeks ago on the BMW. I thought I posted them here but maybe I forgot. I had a "guide" leading the way that took me on some side roads.....I was asked not to post pictures of certain valleys and rivers (you'd never get to those places by truck).
Question: How did you get your truck past the bridge that is out once you get past the fork in the road where you can go to Dobdob/Siaton or Pamplona? The bridge is only wide enough for one motorcycle tire.-
